Made with graphite, tape, and resin, these layered drawings by LA artist Brooks Shane Salzwedel are simply breathtaking.
I absolutely love how the layers create such a misty background. It gives the drawings a wonderful dreamlike quality.
Looking at Salzwedel's portfolio has got me longing for more foggy days like the two we experienced a couple weeks back here in Edinburgh. In my opinion, the city's even more beautiful when completely covered in clouds than it is on the sunniest day.
