Self-Directed Photography

This is my final project for second year photography. It was a self-directed assignment, so we could basically do whatever we wanted for it.

For quite some time now I've been wanting to document this old house, which many of you have probably seen right off 97, so that's what I chose as the subject matter for my project. It's a very interesting old run-down lot, with an empty house, barn, and root cellar.

I documented the house in a portrait composed of several somewhat close photographs inspired by Alfred Stieglitz and his portrait of Georgia O'Keeffe (made up of over 300 different photographs, as seen here).
