This week we have to produce 25 figure drawings using a "range of materials and approaches."
Here are two that I made today.
The first image was inspired by one of the talented performers of the Moscow State Circus I went to see back in December (which was incredible, btw!). The second was created from a wax figure of a woman at the Neanderthal museum in Mettmann, Germany.
That first one is ingenius! I especially like the touch of red on the lips. Would love to see a set of three spotlight ones, a couple more circus members maybe? A lion tamer? Would make excellent prints for a child's room.
ReplyDeleteWell thanks! I would like to do some more in the style of the first image, but wasn't able to decide on which other circus acts to use. I'll take another look through my pictures from the circus and see if I can get a nice little set together.
