If you haven't checked it out already, the subreddit /r/redditgetsdrawn is pretty incredible. Random people post photos of themselves or their loved ones that they want to see in drawing form, and then random redditors that draw actually fill those requests and post their drawings in the comments. Very straightforward. Anyways, it's well worth the browse. I really love seeing how all of the different artists interpret the subject matter and make the portraits their own.
Here are a couple of submissions I've done recently. It's great practice, and if they can bring a smile to someone's face, even better!
