$750 Were Raised!

I am very happy to say that my two paintings from the previous post raised a grand total of $750 for the More Project charity in Brazil! They were on display at a silent auction during the MonaVie 2.0 convention in St. Louis. Tom from NYC won the Cristos painting to give as a wedding gift for his son, and Cindy was ecstatic to take home the portrait of Gabriela.

Can't wait to get started on the next charity painting for the More Project!

And just for fun, here are some work in progress shots:

Paintings for the MORE Project Charity

I finished these two paintings to donate to the MORE project charity in Brazil! Tomorrow we're heading down to St. Louis where they will be put on a silent auction at the MonaVie 2.0 convention. Last fall I ended up raising over $770 for the charity by selling raffle tickets for a different portrait. My goal for this weekend is to raise more than last time.

Sponsor Child Portrait, 24 x 24", acrylic

Cristos, 12 x 36", acrylic

Note: there's a weird light glare on the left side of this painting; looks much better in person.
